About Hannah
Hannah Gilson is an award winning artist whose mixed media practice combines painting, screen printing and drawing. Evolving from a predominately fine arts background, her work has naturally settled with hand drawn and digital illustration, where she engages with popular culture and aesthetics.
She was recently awarded the Boodle Hatfield Printmaking Prize for her piece ‘Flowers’ and had her first solo showcase at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in 2023.
She exhibits her work through The Other Art Fair and the Affordable Art Fair. Her work has recently selected by Bonhams for their ‘Text Me if You Can’ and December Auctions. She is represented by Air Contemporary Gallery.
More commercial work includes selling prints through retailers such as IKEA, Anthropologie, La Redoute and House of Hackney. Commissioned work includes editorial illustration for the Evening Standard Magazine and a contemporary card range for Woodmansterne cards.
